The story behind it
Limited Christmas Edition.
Known locally as the “screaming woman bird,” the bush stone-curlew is creepy enough year-round—but come Christmas, she really turns it on. While the rest of the Territory hums along to Mariah Carey and the sound of mozzies, she’s out there under the mango tree wailing like a banshee. Some say she’s mourning. Others reckon she’s just warning Santa to leg it back to the sleigh. Either way, she’s part nightmare, part festive spirit, and still singing like nobody’s sleeping.
Tea towels and totes ship separately from the tees, but it won’t mess with the $200+ free shipping. Worst case, Australia Post sends me broke, not you!
Also - it is worth mentioning that the tea towels take up to an additional 7 working days due to the supply chain.

Printed just for you. Every order is printed to order in Brisbane, usually within 1-3 business days.
Once your order has been printed and dispatched:
- Standard shipping: usually 4–8 business days
- Express shipping: usually 3–6 business days
- Free standard shipping on orders over $100
Top End customers: If you're in the NT and in a hurry (an unusual combination), we recommend choosing Express Shipping. Standard parcels from Brisbane tend to take the scenic route via Adelaide before eventually heading north. Express shipping usually takes the red-eye directly instead.
Because each item is printed to order, we can’t usually exchange items ordered in the wrong size. Please check the size guide before ordering. Annoying, but also fairly sensible.
If your item arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, get in touch and we’ll sort it out.
