That'll Do, NT
At this stage, That'll Do, NT is a one-bloke operation. A second-generation Territorian, I was born and grew up in Darwin, and after many years living in Sydney with regular stints up here, I was drawn back home permanently for a simpler life a few years ago. This is where my family made their lives – Bob, my dad (that’s his face on the logo), arrived here in 1969 and, like many, instantly fell in love and never left. Not even when Cyclone Tracy flattened Darwin – Dad was one of the 10,000 who remained, rigging up wrecked houses to generators with found wiring so the rebuilders had power, and using his mechanical and auto-electrical skills to keep the fleet of road trains bringing supplies into Darwin on the road. After we lost Mum in 2001, true to form - Dad stayed. He said he’d never leave, and he never did.
I live with my wife, two cats (Doris and Elton), and a dog named Evie who has no respect for personal space. Most of the designs are loosely inspired by them, the Territory, or just things that made us laugh too much at 11pm. If you have any questions or issues, it’ll be me you’re dealing with – and I’ll do my best to provide good old-fashioned customer service. No bots, no help desk. Just me, probably replying with a cat on my lap.

In Case You’re Wondering
At That’ll Do, NT, we keep it simple: decent cotton tees, weird designs, printed in Australia. The inks are water-based and environmentally friendly—not that we’re here to brag about it. They’re soft to the touch and hold up in the wash, which is all anyone really wants.
We’re not trying to be high fashion. It’s not streetwear either. If that’s your thing, good on you—but this is just stuff that makes you look twice and maybe laugh under your breath. If it fits and it doesn’t fall apart, that’s a win. Everything else is a bonus. That’ll do. -
Our Products
-
100% Cotton (Because Polyester’s Gross)
All shirts are printed on proper 100% cotton AS colour. No weird blends, no plastic-feeling fabric. Just good-quality tees that breathe in the heat and don’t feel like cling wrap when you sweat.
-
Water-Based Printing
Designs are printed using water-based inks, which are soft, long-lasting, and won’t crack like those dodgy iron-ons from the 90s. The colours come out crisp, and the print becomes part of the shirt—not something sitting awkwardly on top.
-
No Nasty Stuff
Printing is done right here in Australia, using inks and processes that are better for your skin and the planet. No harsh chemicals, no cheap shortcuts—just a clean print that holds up after actual wear.

My Creative Process
Full transparency: here’s how it works. I start from my lived experience as a second-generation Darwinite as the conceptual origin. That becomes the prompt seed for a generative AI tool. Through multiple iterations and descriptive guardrail prompts, the AI produces a starting-point image, which I refine into a foundation artwork in Photoshop before vectorising and layering with text and other elements in Illustrator.
FAQs
What brand are your T-shirts?
We use AS Colour 100% cotton tees. They’re known for being high-quality, comfy, and built to last.
What printing method do you use?
Designs are printed with water-based, eco-friendly inks. They’re soft to the touch, long-lasting, and free from harsh chemicals.
Is your packaging environmentally friendly?
Yes. Orders are shipped in biodegradable or recyclable packaging, so you can feel a bit less guilty about online shopping.
Where do you ship from?
All T-shirts are printed and shipped from within Australia.
How long will my order take?
Most orders are printed on demand and ship within 3–7 business days, plus standard delivery time.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes — free shipping applies to Australian orders of $200 or more (excluding posters).
What about international orders?
International orders don’t qualify for free shipping. Shipping costs and times will be shown at checkout.
Do you do discounts if I grab a few tees?
From time to time we do bundle discount offers. When we do we'll offer them to customers who have signed-up to the newsletter, and these will be exclusive to subscribers.
Do you do PayPal or afterpay?
Yes. I will happily accept your money via any means necessary! Credit Card, PayPal, afterpay - they're all available at the checkout.
What’s the deal with poster shipping?
Posters ship separately from a different printer to the T-shirts. Shipping is always charged on posters, and they don’t count toward the free shipping over $200 offer for Australian customers.
If you also order T-shirts or other gear, those items can still qualify for free shipping if they hit $200+ on their own, and you are an Australian customer. The poster will always have its own postage charge.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship to most countries. Shipping times and rates vary depending on location and will be shown at checkout.
Do you want to collaborate, cross-promote, or buy SEO services?
Probably not. If it's a genuine collaboration (and not you trying to flog me services or products), I'm prepared to hear you out.
Do you sell other types of T-shirts e.g. Kids sizes, V-neck or scoop neck, tank tops etc?
We do a few baby jumpsuits - but if you would like one of my designs on a different type of T-Shirt than the unisex AS Colour shirts we print on - send me a message via the Contact form - style, colour, size, design etc - and I'll do my best to accommodate your desire.
Can I cold pitch you marketing, design, or business growth services?
You can, but it will go straight to the bin.
In fact, I designed a T-shirt just for you.
