Whether your go-to laksa is from Mary’s or Yati’s, there’s no denying the best laksas in the world are found right here in Darwin. And while the annual Darwin International Laksa Festival may crown a new winner of the coveted Golden Bowl each year, locals know the best bowl is at Parap Markets — every Saturday, all year round.

It’s one of the things I missed most when I lived in Sydney. Down there, “the best” laksa in the CBD had queues out the door — and still didn’t come close to your average Top End bowl.

Laksa for breakfast? Obviously. With a stinging hangover? Wouldn’t have it any other way.

And just like a strong coffee acts as an intestinal broom after a night on the grog, a Parap Markets laksa performs its own sacred ritual — cleansing body and soul. That’s why locals take it home, so the magic can unfold within close range of trusted amenities.

Once your order has been printed and dispatched:

Standard shipping: usually 4–8 business days
Express shipping: usually 3–6 business days
Free standard shipping on orders over $100

Top End customers: If you're in the NT and in a hurry (an unusual combination), we recommend choosing Express Shipping. Standard parcels from Brisbane tend to take the scenic route via Adelaide before eventually heading north. Express shipping usually takes the red-eye directly instead.

Because each item is printed to order, we can’t usually exchange items ordered in the wrong size. Please check the size guide before ordering. Annoying, but also fairly sensible.

I LOVE my Curlew “Sing Like Nobody’s Sleeping” t-shirt. It is a great reminder of how much I enjoyed seeing and hearing the Curlews on our recent trip to QLD. The t-shirt itself is a lovely soft material and I am enjoying wearing it.

Funny, accurate. Being a short woman I had to cut about 10cm off the hem to get it a decent length. Smaller prints on shorter shirts would be great!
