The story behind it
Growing up in Darwin, ibis were just… birds.
Quiet, methodical, pulling grubs out of suburban lawns like it was honest work. Australian white ibis, straw-necked ibis. All minding their own business.
Then I moved to Sydney at 19 and found out my old mates had a nickname.
“Bin chickens.”
Righto.
Never sat right with me. I’m not calling them that.
But give it a French spin and suddenly it’s refined.
Culinary, even.
Bin Appétit.

- Shoulder tape stabilises the seams and helps prevent stretching.
- Double-needle sleeve and bottom hems provide lasting durability.
- Regular-fit, medium-weight combed ring-spun cotton construction.

Each t-shirt's printed just for you, so double-check your fit before ordering. (Your future self will thank you.) This is a women's fit, so it sits closer and shorter than our regular tee. Width is measured armpit-to-armpit, please allow 1-2cm human measurement errors.

Printed just for you. Every order is printed to order in Brisbane, usually within 1-3 business days.
Once your order has been printed and dispatched:
- Standard shipping: usually 4–8 business days
- Express shipping: usually 3–6 business days
- Free standard shipping on orders over $100
Top End customers: If you're in the NT and in a hurry (an unusual combination), we recommend choosing Express Shipping. Standard parcels from Brisbane tend to take the scenic route via Adelaide before eventually heading north. Express shipping usually takes the red-eye directly instead.
Because each item is printed to order, we can’t usually exchange items ordered in the wrong size. Please check the size guide before ordering. Annoying, but also fairly sensible.
If your item arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, get in touch and we’ll sort it out.
